- 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
- 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and place them in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the shrimp, tossing gently to coat.
- In another small bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs with olive oil until crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the shrimp.
- Bake the shrimp for 12–15 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the topping is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- Fresh shrimp works best for this recipe.
- Adjust the seasoning according to your taste.
- You can substitute the panko breadcrumbs with regular breadcrumbs if needed.
