  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup (25g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and place them in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture over the shrimp, tossing gently to coat.
  4. In another small bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs with olive oil until crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  5. Bake the shrimp for 12–15 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the topping is golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
