  • 1 small baguette (or 810 slices of French bread)
  • 1/2 cup (115 g) mayonnaise
  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices and arrange the bread slices on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Lightly brush the bread slices with melted butter for extra crispiness.
  4. In a bowl, mix chopped shrimp, mayonnaise, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, lemon juice, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
  5. Generously spread the shrimp mixture onto each bread slice, about 1-2 tablespoons per piece.
  6. Sprinkle a little extra mozzarella or Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the shrimp are cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. For a crispy top, broil for 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.
  9. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
