- 1 lb (450 g) shrimp, peeled, deveined, and finely chopped
- 1 small baguette (or 8–10 slices of French bread)
- 1/2 cup (115 g) mayonnaise
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices and arrange the bread slices on the prepared baking sheet.
- Lightly brush the bread slices with melted butter for extra crispiness.
- In a bowl, mix chopped shrimp, mayonnaise, mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic, green onions, soy sauce, lemon juice, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
- Generously spread the shrimp mixture onto each bread slice, about 1-2 tablespoons per piece.
- Sprinkle a little extra mozzarella or Parmesan cheese on top if desired.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the shrimp are cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- For a crispy top, broil for 1-2 minutes, keeping a close eye to avoid burning.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
