- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Instructions
- Cook penne according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook sausage until browned, then add shrimp and Cajun seasoning. Sauté until shrimp are cooked.
- Stir in cream and Parmesan, simmering until thickened. Add a little reserved pasta water if you like. Toss with pasta and serve.
