Ingredients

  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Cook penne according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet. Cook sausage until browned, then add shrimp and Cajun seasoning. Sauté until shrimp are cooked.
  3. Stir in cream and Parmesan, simmering until thickened. Add a little reserved pasta water if you like. Toss with pasta and serve.
