A rich and creamy pasta dish combining seafood and cheese for a delightful dinner experience.
Ingredients

- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined (or mix of crab and lobster)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon mustard powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1½ cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (optional)
- chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil macaroni in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Melt butter, whisk in flour until golden. Gradually add milk and cream, whisking until thickened. Add seasonings and cheeses, stir until smooth.
- Add cooked pasta and seafood to cheese sauce, stir to combine evenly.
- Transfer to a greased 9×9 baking dish, top with breadcrumbs. Bake at 350°F for 15 minutes until golden. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
- Breadcrumbs are optional for topping but add a nice crunch.
- Feel free to substitute seafood with your preferred options.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
