- 1 1/2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp olive oil or other neutral oil
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat shrimp dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Toss shrimp in Cajun seasoning until fully coated.
- Lightly dredge shrimp in flour, shaking off the excess.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear shrimp in a single layer for 2–3 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayo, hot sauce, paprika, garlic powder, and lemon juice to make the creamy sauce.
- Arrange cooked shrimp in a serving dish and drizzle with sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or chives. Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can adjust the spice level by adding more or less hot sauce.
- For a gluten-free option, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free flour blend.
