- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce (low-sodium works well)
- 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to your heat preference)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 1 tablespoon water (optional, for cornstarch slurry)
Instructions
- Slice kielbasa into ½-inch rounds. For extra flavor, briefly brown in a skillet (optional).
- In your slow cooker, whisk together brown sugar, ketchup, honey, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and red pepper flakes until well combined.
- Add kielbasa to the sauce and gently stir to coat all pieces. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours or LOW for 4-6 hours.
- Optional: 30 minutes before serving, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir into the slow cooker and continue cooking to thicken the sauce.
- Switch to the WARM setting for serving. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, or parsley. Serve with toothpicks.
