- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly pink.
- Pour in heavy cream, stir, and let simmer for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in Parmesan cheese.
- Transfer mixture to a baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine mozzarella, breadcrumbs, and oregano. Sprinkle over shrimp.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to taste.
- For a lighter version, consider using half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
