Description

A flavorful Garlic Shrimp Pasta that is sure to impress your guests with its rich garlic taste and succulent shrimp.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, deveined and tails removed
  • 1 lb spaghetti noodles
  • 68 garlic cloves, minced (to taste)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Olive oil (about 3 drizzles)
  • Italian seasoning (to taste)
  • Fresh ground pepper (to taste)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Fresh herbs (such as parsley or basil, to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and add olive oil and fresh herbs. Cook the spaghetti noodles until tender. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining. Set the pasta aside.
  2. While the pasta is boiling, rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat dry.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the shrimp to the pan.
  4. Cook the shrimp until they turn pink and start to curl, about 2-3 minutes. Then add the minced garlic and continue cooking for an additional 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Drizzle in a bit of olive oil to enhance the flavor and help coat the pasta later.
  6. Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet with the shrimp. Sprinkle in your desired seasonings, including Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Gradually add the reserved pasta water until the dish reaches your desired consistency. Start with 1/4 cup and add more if needed.
  8. Gently toss all ingredients together in the skillet until everything is well combined and heated through. Taste and adjust seasonings as necessary.
  9. Serve hot and savor the delightful flavors of this garlic shrimp pasta.

Notes
