- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (plus extra for garnish)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for extra heat)
- Fresh veggies, crackers, or bread for serving
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese. Using a hand mixer or a spatula, beat the cream cheese until it’s smooth and creamy (about 1-2 minutes).
- Add the sour cream to the bowl and mix until well combined.
- Sprinkle in the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, mixing until everything is well incorporated.
- Add the hot honey to the mixture and mix well. If making your own hot honey, combine honey with a few red pepper flakes and let it sit for a few hours to infuse.
- Stir in the chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using) until evenly mixed.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Transfer the dip mixture into a baking dish (a 9-inch pie dish or small casserole dish works well) and smooth out the top with a spatula.
- For an extra cheesy topping, sprinkle more shredded cheddar and mozzarella on top of the dip.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Carefully remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with extra chopped green onions and serve warm with fresh veggies, crackers, or slices of crusty bread.
- For an extra kick, drizzle a little more hot honey on top just before serving.

- Feel free to adjust the level of heat by adding more or less crushed red pepper flakes.
- This dip can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving for convenience.
