  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika (optional for extra flavor)
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, avocado, mayo, ketchup, or mustard

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Burger Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder. Mix until just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the burgers tender.
  2. Shape the Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties about 1/2 inch thick. Use parchment paper between patties if stacking to prevent sticking.
  3. Preheat the Cooking Surface: Heat a griddle, skillet, or grill over medium heat. Add olive oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Cook the Turkey Burgers: Place the patties on the preheated surface and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Avoid pressing the burgers down while cooking to retain moisture.
