- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
Instructions
- Wash and cut broccoli into bite-sized florets.
- Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and minced garlic; let sit for 5 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat; add seasoned chicken and cook for 6 minutes per side until golden brown (165°F).
- Remove chicken from skillet; add more olive oil if needed and sauté broccoli florets with minced garlic for 3-4 minutes until bright green.
- Pour in soy sauce and chicken broth; add red pepper flakes and simmer for an additional minute.
- Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, serve warm.
