Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup (or corn syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Add the maple syrup and vanilla extract. Mix until the ingredients come together and form a sticky dough.
  3. Scoop out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it between your hands to form a ball. Repeat with the remaining mixture.
  4. Roll each ball in powdered sugar until fully coated. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
  5. Refrigerate the pecan pie balls for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
