Description
Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls are a delicious twist on a classic dish, combining the flavors of Philly cheesesteak in a crispy, fried wrapper.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ribeye steak or ground beef, thinly sliced or crumbled
- 1 medium onion, finely diced
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- Optional: 1/2 cup diced bell peppers or mushrooms
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil or butter.
- Sauté diced onions until soft and lightly golden.
- Add beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until fully browned. Add optional veggies if using.
- Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
- Lay out an egg roll wrapper in a diamond shape.
- Place about 2 tablespoons of filling in the center and sprinkle with provolone cheese.
- Fold the bottom corner over the filling, tuck in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal the edge with water.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep skillet.
- Fry egg rolls in batches for 3–5 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- Drain on a paper towel-lined plate and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, consider adding jalapeños to the filling.
- These egg rolls can also be baked instead of fried for a healthier version.
