- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- Powdered Sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract and food coloring.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; do not overmix.
- Scoop dough onto prepared sheets, spacing them two inches apart. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
Notes
- Make sure the butter is at room temperature for easier mixing.
