- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp cold water
- 85 grams cream cheese
- 42.5 grams unsalted butter
- 125 grams powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup white chocolate
- 1/4 cup sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Sift almond flour and powdered sugar together in one bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whip egg whites until foamy; gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in sifted dry ingredients gently until combined.
- Divide batter into three bowls; color one red, one blue, and leave one plain.
- Pipe small circles onto parchment-lined baking sheets, leaving space between them.
- Let macarons rest for 30 minutes before baking until they form a skin.
- Prepare filling by cooking raspberries with maple syrup, then mix cream cheese and butter with powdered sugar.
- Assemble by pairing macaron shells and filling them.
