Description

Seafood Cajun Cream is a delicious dish featuring shrimp and salmon in a creamy Cajun sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Fresh parsley for topping
  • A pinch of salt and pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 10 jumbo shrimp, peeled and cleaned
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 2 boneless salmon fillets
  • A tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • A tablespoon of Cajun seasoning
  • ½ a small onion, chopped finely
  • Steamed rice or cooked pasta to plate it up

Instructions

  1. Dust the shrimp and salmon generously with Cajun spice, then add a little salt and pepper.
  2. In a heated skillet with oil, cook the salmon on each side for about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Brown the shrimp in the same pan for 1-2 minutes per side until they look pink and done.
  4. In the same skillet, cook the onion and garlic until they’re soft and fragrant.
  5. Pour in the cream, letting it gently bubble, then mix in Parmesan. Stir until it thickens.
  6. Add the shrimp and salmon back into the pan. Spoon the sauce over to coat it all.
  7. Spoon over pasta or rice and sprinkle with parsley for a pop of color.
