A rich and creamy lasagna made with shrimp and crab that brings the taste of the sea to your dinner table.

- 12 sheets of lasagna noodles
- 1 pound crab meat
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled with veins removed
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cups of Alfredo sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 2 parsley sprigs, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumb topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil the lasagna noodles using the package directions, then drain and let them cool.
- In a large pan, warm olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for about a minute. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes. Add crab, salt, black pepper, and chili flakes; cook for 2-3 minutes more and remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, half the Parmesan, 1 cup of mozzarella, parsley, and heavy cream. Stir until smooth.
- Spread some Alfredo sauce in a 9×13 pan. Layer noodles, then a portion of the cheese mixture, seafood, and drizzle with more sauce. Repeat for three layers, finishing with noodles and Alfredo sauce on top.
- Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan, mozzarella, and breadcrumbs. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10-15 minutes until bubbling and golden brown.
- Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Optionally, garnish with parsley.
Notes
- This dish can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
- Feel free to use any additional seafood if desired.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or fewer chili flakes.
- Serves well with a side salad and garlic bread.
