A luxurious Shrimp Lobster Steak Sauce that enhances your filet mignon with rich seafood flavors.

- 4 pieces of filet mignon
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves of garlic
- A couple of fresh thyme sprigs
- Garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt to taste
- ½ pound shrimp, cleaned and deveined
- 2 shelled lobster tails, cubed
- Seasoning blend (paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper)
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil (for shrimp)
- ½ cup dry white wine
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (plus 2 tbsp set aside)
- ½ cup clam broth
- 1 cup thick cream
Instructions
- Rub steaks with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and a touch of pepper.
- On medium-high heat, drizzle olive oil into a cast iron skillet. Let steaks sear for 2 minutes, then toss in butter, garlic cloves, and thyme.
- Let steaks cook for 3 more minutes, then flip them. Cook for 4 minutes on the other side, lower the heat, and keep basting with butter until just under the internal temp you want. Give them 10 minutes to rest.
- Lightly coat shrimp in seasoning mix.
- In the same skillet, toss in olive oil and butter. Sizzle shrimp for 2 or 3 minutes, then take them out.
- Melt butter in the pan, toss in lobster, and sauté until it turns a lovely pinkish color. Take it out.
- Pop butter into the skillet, then pour in clam juice and white wine. Let it bubble up gently for a bit.
- Stir heavy cream into the mixture and season it well. Let it sit and thicken for 10 minutes.
- Put shrimp and lobster back in the sauce. Let them soak for about 2 minutes while bubbling gently.
- Spoon that seafood sauce on top of your steaks and serve it up!
