Description
A spicy twist on a classic appetizer, these Spicy Chili Garlic Deviled Eggs are sure to excite your taste buds.
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 large eggs
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 tbsp chili garlic sauce (adjust based on spice preference)
- Smoked paprika (for garnish)
- Crispy fried onions (for a crunchy topping)
Instructions
- Boil the Eggs: Start by placing the eggs in a large pot and covering them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Once done, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to stop the cooking process and make peeling easier.
- Prep the Yolks: Peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Carefully scoop out the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Make the Filling: Mash the yolks with mayonnaise and chili garlic sauce until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Taste the filling and adjust the spice level by adding more chili garlic sauce if desired.
- Fill the Eggs: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the halved egg whites. For a professional look, use a piping bag fitted with a star tip to create a beautiful swirl.
- Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle a dash of smoked paprika over each egg and top with crispy fried onions. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the amount of chili garlic sauce according to your spice tolerance.
- These eggs are best served fresh but can be made a few hours in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
