  • Author: Emily
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 50 small meatballs or 30 medium meatballs 1x
  • Diet: Gluten Free

Description

A delicious and spicy twist on traditional meatballs, perfect for appetizers or main dishes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 28 ounces frozen meatballs (about 50 small or 30 medium size if homemade)
  • 14 ounces whole cranberry sauce
  • 18 ounces spicy masterfoods BBQ Sauce (1820 ounce bottle, about 23 cups)

Instructions

  1. In your skillet (or slow cooker), pour in the cranberry sauce and BBQ sauce, stirring them together over medium heat. Let it simmer until it starts to bubble slightly.
  2. Gently place the meatballs into the sauce in a single layer. If using frozen meatballs, heat for about 15-20 minutes; homemade meatballs will be ready in about 10 minutes.
  3. Once the meatballs are heated through, uncover the pan and let the sauce reduce for a few more minutes until it clings to the meatballs.
  4. Enjoy the meatballs as an appetizer or over rice or mashed potatoes.

Notes

  • For a milder flavor, use less spicy BBQ sauce.
  • These meatballs can be made ahead of time and reheated.
  • Great for parties or family gatherings.
