Description
A delicious and spicy twist on traditional meatballs, perfect for appetizers or main dishes.
Ingredients
Scale
- 28 ounces frozen meatballs (about 50 small or 30 medium size if homemade)
- 14 ounces whole cranberry sauce
- 18 ounces spicy masterfoods BBQ Sauce (18–20 ounce bottle, about 2–3 cups)
Instructions
- In your skillet (or slow cooker), pour in the cranberry sauce and BBQ sauce, stirring them together over medium heat. Let it simmer until it starts to bubble slightly.
- Gently place the meatballs into the sauce in a single layer. If using frozen meatballs, heat for about 15-20 minutes; homemade meatballs will be ready in about 10 minutes.
- Once the meatballs are heated through, uncover the pan and let the sauce reduce for a few more minutes until it clings to the meatballs.
- Enjoy the meatballs as an appetizer or over rice or mashed potatoes.
Notes
- For a milder flavor, use less spicy BBQ sauce.
- These meatballs can be made ahead of time and reheated.
- Great for parties or family gatherings.
